Lerlene Sampson

Lerlene Sampson, a beloved matriarch from West Palm Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on December  25, 2024, at the age of 84. Born on September 25, 1940, to her devoted parents, James and Mary Lee Padgett, Lerlene was a beacon of light and love in the lives of those who had the joy of knowing her.

From an early age, Lerlene exhibited a warmth and kindness that endeared her to everyone around her. Her laughter was infectious, her compassion boundless, and her spirit unwavering in the face of life’s challenges. She nurtured not only her family but also her community, creating lasting connections built on trust and love.

Lerlene is survived by a host of family and friends who will carry her memory in their hearts forever. Her legacy of kindness, generosity, and unwavering support for those she cherished will continue to inspire all who were fortunate to cross her path.

As we remember Lerlene, we invite loved ones to join us in honoring her life. There will be a visitation held at the Journey Memorial Chapel Funeral and Cremation Services in West Palm Beach, FL, on January 10, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.  A funeral service will follow at the Pentecostal Church of God in Christ of the USA in Riviera Beach, FL, on January 11, 2025, at 11:00AM, as we gather to celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the profound impact she made on our lives.
