Willie J Mitchell Sr., a cherished soul, departed this life on January 12, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on January 11, 1945, to the loving parents Eli and Lucy Mitchell, Willie lived a life brimming with warmth, laughter, and a deep affection for those around him.

His kindness and generosity touched the lives of many, and news of his passing spreads, family and friends alike are left with an immense sense of loss. Willie had an extraordinary knack for making everyone feel seen and valued, whether it was through his thoughtful words or his ever ready smile. Each moment spent with him resonates in the hearts of his loved ones, creating a tapestry of cherished memories that they will hold dear forever.

To celebrate his life and the beautiful moments he shared, visitation services will be held on January 18, 2025, from 10:00am to 1:00pm  at Journey Memorial Chapel Funeral and Cremation Services in West Palm Beach, FL. A funeral service honoring Willie’s life will follow on January 18, 2025, beginning at 2:00 PM, also at Journey Memorial Chapel.

Willie J Mitchell Sr. leaves behind a host of family and friends who will miss him dearly. His spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him, reminding us all of the love and light he brought into our lives.
